About

About this site

A small static project: readable explainers, an eventual questionnaire, and clear guardrails so nobody mistakes a web form for a clinic.

The Big Five Test site exists because people keep searching for “OCEAN personality test” and deserve something calmer than a data-harvesting quiz wrapped in ads. We are not affiliated with a test publisher, a university lab, or a certification body — just an independent English-language resource aimed at students, curious adults, and anyone comparing notes with friends.

Content priorities: accurate-enough definitions, links between pages so you can read in any order, and honest talk about what self-report can and cannot do. Technical priorities: fast static hosting, no mystery trackers by default, and code you can audit in the open repository.

Everything here is education and entertainment. It does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, career counseling, or workplace accommodations. If something you read makes you worried about yourself or someone else, reach out to appropriate local help rather than refreshing a results screen.

Product milestones and licensing notes for the item bank live in the repo’s planning files for maintainers; visitors can ignore them and use the public pages above.
